ETSI Throws Open Registration for 20th Security Conference

ETSI is calling on UK cybersecurity professionals to register for its 20th Security Conference.
ETSI is marking the 20th anniversary of its flagship Security Conference with a free, four-day programme in Sophia Antipolis, France, bringing together government bodies, standards organisations, academia and industry to explore the biggest challenges facing cybersecurity standardisation. Running from 19 to 22 October 2026 under the theme "Securing Tomorrow after 20 Years of Progress," the conference is built around four core themes:
Building security into the AI era, covering agentic AI, autonomous threats and next-generation defence strategies
Securing digital infrastructures through zero trust, identity-centric security and modern product-security practices
Preparing for the quantum frontier, including crypto-agility and post-quantum cryptography-ready architectures
Understanding human factors and systemic risks, from fraud and social engineering to past protocol exploits
The full programme spans sessions on the global cybersecurity landscape, AI security and resilience, cryptography and quantum readiness, identity and API security, cloud and IoT product security, regulatory compliance including the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and networks and telecom security, alongside an inaugural Women in Cyber session, poster and demo showcases, and a 20th birthday celebration on the opening evening.
The programme features strong UK representation, with the UK's National Cyber Security Centre chairing several sessions and speakers from DSIT, the University of Surrey, the University of Birmingham and Queen Mary University of London contributing across the agenda.
Registration is free of charge, and UK cybersecurity professionals are encouraged to register to take part in this milestone edition.
