The State of Maryland Department of Commerce, in association with the University of Maryland, invites you to join in a Quantum Roundtable Discussion at the University of Oxford. The roundtable provides a platform for engagement between quantum stakeholders from the UK and Maryland, sharing and discussion of strategies and approaches across commercial, academic, and government sectors. It provides an opportunity to showcase quantum capabilities and expertise and explore potential collaborations and investment opportunities between our nations through brief, ten-minute presentations from the various stakeholders attending the roundtable. It is beneficial to learn about strategies and capabilities of participating UK quantum companies and the approaches of quantum organizations like LASR, the Oxford Quantum Institute, and NQCC.

Focus: The Maryland Department of Commerce will host the roundtable event with Dr. John Sawyer, Executive Director, Mid-Atlantic Quantum Alliance, and Director, Strategic Research Initiatives at the University of Maryland and Ricardo Benn Deputy Secretary of the Office of Growth and Innovation at the Maryland Department of Commerce. The roundtable will offer mutual benefits and valuable insights for all participants.
