Harvard/MIT TechNatSec Innovation Showcase

Innovating for the frontlines
TechNatSec is a widely attended conference organized by the business schools of Harvard and MIT, bringing together the technology and national security communities. It draws defence tech VCs from around the US, and speakers last year included former National Security Director Jake Sullivan, former Secretary of Defense Dr Mark Esper, and the UK Naval Attache to the US.
The conference includes an Innovation Showcase pitch event, with five companies presenting to a panel of VC judges. The top three companies will win $5000, $3000, and $1000, respectively, with the first-place winner also qualifying for a non-binding $100k SAFE investment.
Through the British Consulate’s partnership with the TechNatSec organisers UK company (Pre-Seed through Series A) are being selected to join the Showcase. Expenses are taken care of for selected participants.
The British Consulate in Boston will do an initial sift, and the TechNatSec organizers will select one UK company to join the Innovation Showcase by 27 February.
