UK cyber security companies can apply for pre-arranged, one-to-one meetings with screened Thai buyers at CyberSec Asia 2027 in Bangkok. Building on engagement at the 2026 edition, the programme is delivered with the British Embassy Bangkok and includes a market briefing, buyer introductions and follow-up support. Applications close on 30 October 2026.

UK cyber security companies looking to grow in South East Asia can now apply for curated, one-to-one meetings with pre-qualified Thai buyers at CyberSec Asia 2027, through a business matching programme delivered by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade with the British Embassy Bangkok.

The UK-Thailand Cyber Security Business Matching Programme builds on the positive engagement generated at CyberSec Asia 2026. CyberSec Asia 2027 takes place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok on 20 and 21 January 2027, with business matching sessions held on 21 January. Thailand's cyber security market is currently valued at around £350 million and is forecast to reach £700 million by 2032, with annual growth of 12 per cent. Bangkok also serves as a gateway to around 660 million ASEAN consumers across the CLMVT region, supported by a workforce of more than 470,000 ICT professionals and tax incentives from Thailand's Board of Investment.

The programme is open to export-ready UK cyber security companies working in AI-powered security, threat intelligence, cloud security, identity, OT and critical national infrastructure, managed security services, fraud prevention, and cyber risk and compliance. Thai buyers taking part are looking for technology, services and strategic partnerships. Rather than relying on cold outreach, selected companies receive a personalised schedule of meetings with buyers screened in advance, along with a pre-event Thailand market briefing, market entry advice and ongoing follow-up support.

Participants can expect to meet government agencies and regulators, enterprise buyers across multiple sectors, leading Thai system integrators and distributors seeking UK partners, and organisations needing support to comply with Thailand's Cybersecurity Act and Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Through the previous UK-Thailand programme, Veracity AI and MIA AI were matched with local Thai partners and have since moved into active commercial discussions.

Companies apply by completing a short registration form outlining their capabilities and target sectors. Applications are assessed against Thai buyer requirements, with outcomes confirmed by 6 November 2026, and selected companies receive their briefing and meeting schedule ahead of the event. Places are limited and allocated according to fit with Thai buyer demand, so early applications are encouraged.

Questions about the programme can be directed to Kamonphun Kosta at kamonphun.kosta@fcdo.gov.uk.

UK cyber security companies interested in meeting Thai buyers should complete the registration form before the deadline of 30 October 2026.
